Real human support
Iowa-based small business

Bochi Web manages WordPress websites for small businesses across the U.S. — updates, edits, and upkeep handled, without hiring in-house or chasing freelancers.

WordPress is the most-used website platform in the world, and it's also the one most often left running on auto-pilot until something breaks. Plugin updates roll out every few weeks. Security vulnerabilities get patched constantly. Your site speed drifts. Your forms break and nobody notices for three days.

WordPress website management is the work of staying ahead of all of it — updating, monitoring, fixing, and improving — instead of cleaning up after it.

Bochi Web manages WordPress sites for small businesses across the US. Plans are flat-rate, month-to-month, and cover the work that keeps a WordPress site from quietly falling apart.

Hack Cleanup Included

Website Management vs. Maintenance

These terms get used interchangeably, but they are not the same thing.

Website maintenance is the technical upkeep — software updates, backups, security, uptime monitoring. It keeps the site running. If that is all you need, check our dedicated website maintenance services.

Website management includes all of that and adds the human side: content edits, small design tweaks, priority handling, and a real person who replies to your emails. One plan, one team, everything handled.

Most small businesses are better served by management. Maintenance-only makes sense when you already have someone handling content on your end.

How It Works

Simple process: you send the details, we review and recommend, you pick a plan, and we take it from there.

1

Get on a Plan

You pick maintenance or one of the three management tiers. We send over a short onboarding form, give us access to the site and hosting, and we're running within 48 hours.

2

We Take Over the Site

First week: full audit. We patch what's behind on updates, fix what's already broken, and set up monitoring. From there, weekly updates and ongoing work.

3

You Send Requests, We Do Them

Email us. We confirm, we do the work, we report back. You get a monthly summary at the end of the month.

Built for Small Businesses

Website management works best when the person managing your site understands small businesses — not just code. These are the types of businesses we work with every day.

Contractors & Trades

Plumbers, electricians, roofers, HVAC — service businesses that need a working site but do not have time to manage one.

Medical & Wellness

Med spas, veterinarians, dental offices, chiropractors — professional sites that need to stay current and trustworthy.

Restaurants & Hospitality

Menus, hours, locations, and seasonal updates handled so customers always find the right information.

Professional Services

Accountants, attorneys, consultants, real estate agents — businesses where the website is often the first impression.

Retail & Local Shops

Sign shops, custom design studios, specialty stores — businesses that need their site updated without hiring a web person.

Other Small Businesses

Party bus companies, cannabis brands, data companies, nonprofits — if you have a website and want someone to manage it, this fits.

Not on this list? If you have a website and want someone to take care of it, we can probably help. Mention your industry when you reach out.

How This Compares

DIY

  • 4-8 hours of your own time per month
  • "Free" — but it costs your time
  • No updates tested before going live
  • Daily backups only if you set them up
  • No security monitoring
  • No hack cleanup
  • You're stuck if you get sick or take vacation

Freelancer

  • Variable time on your end
  • $75-$150/hour, billed when something breaks
  • Updates sometimes tested first
  • Backups: maybe
  • No security monitoring
  • Hourly emergency fees for hack cleanup
  • Responsiveness depends on the week

Bochi Web

  • About 0 hours on your end
  • Flat $75-$125/month
  • Every update tested before going live
  • Daily off-site backups, 30-day retention
  • Active security monitoring (Wordfence or equivalent)
  • Hack cleanup included — no emergency fees
  • Same business day response, small team covers vacations
  • No contracts — cancel anytime

This is a better fit than DIY when your website matters but you do not have time to personally handle updates, edits, and issues every month. It is a better fit than an agency when you want ongoing help without a heavy retainer or unnecessary complexity.

Why Bochi Web

A few things make us different from most WordPress management providers:

  • Named operator. Phil Bochi runs Bochi Web out of Marion, Iowa. You'll work with him directly, or with a named team member he's brought in.
  • Flat-rate, transparent pricing. $45, $75, $100, $125. No hidden fees, no emergency surcharges, no "contact us for pricing."
  • No contracts. Month-to-month. Cancel any time.
  • Hack cleanup is included. Not an upsell. Not an extra. Included.
  • WordPress-only. We don't manage Wix sites or Squarespace sites. We've spent years inside WordPress and that's where we're useful.

Need more visibility in local search too? Pair this with our local SEO services for focused work on your Google Business Profile and local rankings.

FAQs

Common Questions About Website Management

Answers to the questions we hear most often from small business owners looking for website help.

Maintenance covers the essentials — backups, updates, security, uptime monitoring. Our maintenance plan is $45 a month. Management includes everything in maintenance plus active work on the site: content edits, design tweaks, performance tuning, monthly summaries, and a real working relationship. Management plans start at $75 a month. Most clients pick maintenance if the site is set and rarely changes, and management if the site is actively being used and updated.

We don't host. You keep your hosting where it is, and we manage the site running on it. If your current hosting is the source of problems — slow, unreliable, security-thin — we'll tell you and recommend better options.

Yes for management and maintenance. WordPress is where we've spent the most time and where we can do the most for you. If you're on Wix or Squarespace, we're not the right fit for those services.

Email. You email Phil or the team, we confirm, we do it, you get a reply when it is done. Most requests are handled the same business day on management plans.

It depends on your plan. Starter includes 1 hour of edits per month. Growth includes 2 hours. Pro includes 4 hours. If you need more in a given month, we'll let you know and either roll the work into next month or bill the extra time at $75/hour. We don't surprise-bill you.

WordPress core updates, plugin updates, theme updates, daily backups, security monitoring, uptime monitoring, hack cleanup, monthly performance check, monthly summary report, and your plan's hours of content edits or design tweaks. Higher tiers add quarterly audits, priority response, and a monthly call with Phil.

They include on-page SEO basics — title tags, meta descriptions, internal linking, schema markup, page speed. Active local SEO (Google Business Profile, citations, reviews) is a separate service. If you want active SEO work as part of management, the Pro plan covers light SEO; for serious local SEO, look at our Local SEO plans.

Same business day on management plans for normal requests. Within an hour for urgent issues (site down, hacked, broken) during business hours. We're not a 24/7 operation — we're a small US-based team that responds quickly during the workday.

Any time. Month-to-month. No fees, no questions. Upgrade or downgrade whenever your needs change.

If your site is mostly static and you just want it kept safe and updated: maintenance, $45. If you are making changes a couple times a month: Starter, $75. If you have an active site, regular blog posts, design tweaks, or product changes: Growth, $100. If your site is doing real volume and you want strategic input: Pro, $125. Email Phil if you are not sure — he will tell you what fits.
